Rwanda Huye – Specialty Coffee – 200 gr

From the hills of Rwanda, at over 1,800 meters above sea level, comes this premium coffee, processed using the washed method at the Simbi Washing Station, founded in 2013 by Abdul Rudahunga. The station stands out for its attention to quality and strong connection to tradition: Abdul has transformed the family legacy into a business of excellence, receiving Cup of Excellence awards from its earliest years.
Grown by over 1,800 small-scale producers in the Shanga area, near Lake Ruhundo, this coffee is meticulously crafted: the cherries are hand-selected, de-pulped, and fermented with mountain spring water, then slowly sun-dried for about 15 days. The manual selection is largely entrusted to local women, who make up 80% of the workforce during the season.
A symbol of Rwanda’s rebirth, this coffee represents the intersection of unique terroir, agricultural tradition, and responsible innovation. The result is a clean, floral, and complex cup, ideal for those seeking an authentic and meaningful experience.
